West Coast Wolves Lacrosse Club is an invitational best available player format program focused on developing top athletes and forming elite select travel teams in field and box lacrosse. Our players try-out for and earn spots both for development squads and our teams.
At WCW:
Nothing is Given & Everything is Earned.
We are a registered non-profit grassroots program that keeps costs affordable for families while delivering a top experience for our players. We are located on the West Coast of British Columbia, Canada where lacrosse has a long and storied history of turning out some of the best box and field players to have ever played the game.
We honour and respect the First Nations origins of Lacrosse and we support and supplement the vital role community based minor lacrosse associations play and providing access and development of athletes.
OUR HISTORY:
West Coast Wolves was founded in 2017 by families looking to create a different type of travel team program with shared values. Founding principles for all aspects of the Wolves includes leadership, attitude, work-ethic, teamwork, sportsmanship and commitment with a focus of having fun and competing at a top level.
Our first team was built around the 2008 birth year and has developed into the recognized top box and field lacrosse team on the West Coast of Canada and the USA. Since the inception of the first team, we’ve grown to include top athletes forming teams in additional age groups including 2007, 2008, 2009 and our Junior Wolves Development Squad for 2010/2011.
First and foremost we are role models for our youth athletes and take that to heart in everything we do. As parents, coaches, managers we are responsible for forming the next generation of lacrosse player and more importantly being responsible for laying the foundation of our players becoming, respectful, responsible and productive human beings.
